Opening for business in 2015 as Greeneville, TN and growing to expand operations in Dothan, AL and most recently Jackson, MS to serve our dedicated customers. This edition brings focus to Wellness with St. Louis, MO Fleet Manager, Rob Bowlsby sharing his amazing physical transformation with encouragement for everyone to start a healthy revolution!

We’re excited to Welcome the drivers and staff of FirstFleet Fort Smith, AR to the team and look forward to building relationships and sharing their future success! FirstFleet Fort Smith opened for business this past summer with 31 drivers providing service to International Paper.

We’re very thankful for all associates who worked tirelessly during this past hurricane season. Delivering food and necessities is much more than just a job, special thank you to Cleveland, TN Team Drivers Donald Shadrick and Samuel Bowling for sharing their very touching account of “Hurricane Harvey” through the eyes of “Just a Truck Driver”.

FirstFocus Q2 2015

This newsletter installment brings focus to 3 million mile safe driver, Ralph West. Ralph began his driving career with FirstFleet, Inc. in 1987 and continues to drive out of the Cleveland, TN location on the Kroger account. Ralph appreciates the good equipment FirstFleet provides and he enjoys the people he works with. He attributes his success to never forgetting that he is a professional driver when on the public highway and when he sees a distracted driver he makes it a point to stay away from them. To quote Mr. West “Safety is my life’s work.”

Another area of focus is our Portland, TN location. Opening in 1992 with approximately 25 drivers, this location has grown to 129 full time drivers who service 1250 Kroger stores in the eastern United States! Fleet Manager, Benny Tuck is quoted as saying that our employees in Portland "are some of the most hardworking, dedicated people I know". This newsletter installment brings us a focus on how to receive your wellness premium discounts. To take advantage of your 2016 Wellness Premium Discount, complete your biometric screening and Personal Health Assessment (PHA) by July 31, 2015. We also have several opportunities for you and your spouse to earn up to $180 in gift cards by participating in wellness activities and programs.

Another company focus is on the Cleveland, TN Shop Service Crew. The group in Cleveland is currently made up of 21 employees and directed by Service Manager, Kevin Santoyo, who began his career with FirstFleet in 2009. The 3 operating shifts are overseen by Shift Leaders; John Carson, Kenneth Vaske and Walter Rutherford with 17 well qualified technicians all working diligently to keep FirstFleet equipment well maintained and on the road.

Welcome to the latest edition of the FirstFleet newsletter, FirstFocus. In our last release of the corporate newsletter we introduced a new format that was easier to read on any device. This release is the second release of this updated format.

The new format enables us to deliver company information to a broader audience along with being environmentally friendly by reducing the number of printed copies. We will still distribute a smaller number of printed copies in each location for those that are interested in obtaining a copy.
